A beautiful moment I witnessed in Washington Square Park

Yesterday was I was walking around in Washington Square Park taking photos and videos of the musicians I witnessed a beautiful moment between a father and his baby. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did

I've uploaded another video of the pianist,  his name is Colin Huggins and apparently he plays a lot at Washington Square Park, if you are nearby on the weekends do drop by and see him, he's really good.

Update: People have asked me what gear did I use to record this video. I used a Nikon D700 with a 70-200 vr lens and a rhode micrphone, there is also an earlier post which has all my gear listed in case you are interested.

Loved the video. Thank you for sharing. I have the same question as Farnell, what kinda of camera you've used for this video?

Thanks for this. A friend posted it on Facebook. The sad part is they look like they are from Eastern Europe. Why do we westerners lost that kind of warm family bonding for the main part. We tend to be all about things, places, activities etc.

So wonderful to see parents who give awesome moments like this to their kids! I also did this with my 7 kids when they were little, and it gave them a lifetime of musical and artistic appreciation (as well as a lot of love)! Thank you so much for sharing this intimate moment. It is truly a GREAT EXAMPLE of good fathering. That's what people need more of. More GOOD Examples! (that's why I founded a non profit to help children's character development, too). Love it when the piano and the siren come together on one pitch, nicely in tune. Wow. Then the doppler effect lowers the siren's pitch. Cool.

A good friend of mine sent me your video of the baby and the father, and the fitting soundtrack by Colin aka The Piano Guy (who for those familiar with the area is forever identified and linked with Washington Square Park) . What a beautiful moment in time you have captured. Bravo!
