Faces of New York Comic Con 2011 - Saturday

edit: Sunday edition is now up! watch it here

After receiving so much positive feedback from my "Faces of Occupy Wall St" post, I decided to do something entirely different using the same format. Separating the cosplayer from the busy background of the Comic Convention and giving them a full frame to show their stuff. Here are the people I met from the New York Comic Con 2011.

I'll be back tomorrow for more pictures, look for me.

Enjoy.

This was by far my favorite costume of the night, a personification of Glados with her doing some very cool improvisations, I was amazed.

This is a panorama photo to give you an idea how busy was this event

Wow. Even though I know this is a simple, mobile set-up, but these are some fantastic portraits. But what's the deal with the homeless looking Spiderman?

Hobo spiderman was one of the coolest looking outfits I saw, I don't feel I captured as well as I could've. He had spiderman hat, spiderman headphones and his gloves were all torn, when I told him I was going to take his photo he got into the too busy pose, lots of character on him, I loved it.
